About the 16s

The Scenic City 16's staff has been involved in fastpitch softball at its highest levels and working with college coaches and student-athletes to secure scholarships for over 15 years.

We have taken advantage of our network of contacts at the collegiate level and the mutual respect shared, to host 5 Southern Showcase of Prospects and 4 Summer and Fall Scenic City 16's Tournament and Skills Showcase.

The Southern Showcase of Prospects, an individual recruiting camp, grew to over 25 College Coaches and over 115 Prospects from 5 different states, in June of 2008.

We decided it was time to offer the "total showcasing package" to College Coaches and potential prospects, by allowing the Skills Showcase to become a  part of a much bigger event - the

Scenic City 16s
